Alchemyheart's blood pounded in his ears as he ran hopeing his plan to distract the dogs would work. "we dont even know if Galaxystar is being attacked...but I would know that battle cry anywhere." he said to himself grimly. He looked back to see his companions taking the dogs at another angle. "Great starclan I hope this works."

Nightheart raced as fast as her legs would carry her. She dug her sharp claws into the dirt and pushed on, hoping to make a difference.

Amberfeather lead the way to where she heard her leader's battle cry. "Its just up ahead" she called back to nightheart. She heard another splitting cry of a cat as they neared. She could hear the sound of fighting. They turned around a boulder and she stopped dead. Infront of her Galaxystar was inbetween the jaws of a large black and white dog. She let out a hiss and ran at the giant creature hopeing it would become distracted and let go of their leader.

Nightheart went to follow amberfeather, but saw something terrible. AMerfeather was too distracted by the sight of poor Galaxystar and hadent noticed the other dog!! Nightheart ran in a curving line, jumping across amberfeather's back to land on the snout of the second dog. She dug her claws in and felt the blood trickle out as it howled in pain. She scrambled to the dogs neck and started clawing out tufts of its fur while trying to get at the skin of its skull.

Amberfeather nodded a thank you to Nightheart and launched herself at the dog infront of her. "Galaxystar!" she yowled as she slamed into the dog's thick shoulder. She clawed her way onto its back and bit down on its scruff and dug her claws in. The dog let out a howl and released Galaxystar. The the black pelted leader lay in a bloody heap on the ground at the dog's paws. The dog howled and yelped as it shook himself to try to dislodge Amberfeather. SHe lost her grip and felt herself slipping off. Her heart pounded with fear as she fell to the ground infront of the dog's face.

The dog shook its head viciously and nightheart jumped off onto the other dog. digging in her claws she tried to pull its head up while yowling "IS GALAXYSTAR OK?? GALAXYSTAR!!!!!!!"

Alchemyheart launched himself onto the dog that Amberfeather was tossed off of. "Get Galaxystar out of here!" he yowled. Amberfeather nodded her head and grabbed the leader by the scruff. She gentily tried to pull him out of view of the dogs as fast as she could.

Nightheart nodded to Alchemystar and lept off the dog they both were on. She ran in front of the dog that was closing in on Amberfeather and Galaxystar. "You'll have to go through ME" She snarled. "Your fur shall line my nest!!"

Alchemyheart dug his claws into the dog and raked them down its rough pelt. The dog let out a howl and took off running. "I guess the injuries you gave it made this a little easyer." he flicked his tail a little amused but then he realized there was still one more dog. He ran and attacked it from behind wile it was distracted from Nightheart. He scored his claws down the dog's back and bit at its neck. He jumped off of the dog and started to slash at it's face. Amberfeather dragged Galaxystar behind a boulder and ran back to join her clanmates in the battle. Alchemyheart jumped backwards just moving fast enough to dodge the snapping teeth of the dog. "Is Galaxystar alright!" he managed to yell to his mate. "Im not sure. He is still in some real bad shape!" she answered as she jumped at the dog's face. The dog soon realized it was outnumbered and ran. They let out a yowl of triumph. Amberfeather ran back to the boulder. "Galaxystar..." she wispered. She looked up from their leader and looked at Alchemyheart. "we were to late..." she let out a yowl of sorrow. Alchemyheart came and stood beside her. He touched his nose into the leader's flank. He rested his tail on Amberfeather. The pounding of pawstepps thundering toward them broke them from their sad trance. "Whats going on?" he meowed. Amberfeather let out a painful shreak as one of the dogs came out of nowhere and lifted her into the air in its mighty jaws. He shook her and she clawed at its bloody face to free herself. "Alchemyheart! Nightheart! Help me!" blood was welling from the dogs mouth as he bit down harder on her and shook her more violently. "Starclan save me!" she yowled. Alchemyheart's stomach lurched and he flung himself at the dog's face. He clawed at the dog's nose and face but it refused to let her free. He was flung off and he hit the ground hard. "Amberfeather!" he yowled. Her her terrified eyes met his as the dog clamped down on her agian. Then her body went limp in the dog's massive jaws. "No!" he wailed and shot himself at the dog again clawing at its eyes. The dog yelped, dropped Amberfeather's body and ran away. Amberfeather lay in a crupmpled mess of blood and fur on the ground. Her sides where bloody and ripped from the dogs teeth. Alchemyheart buried his nose into her fur. "Amberfeather..." he rasped. Amberfeather's body started to go cold and her eyes where empty.

Sunnykit fowlled the sound of the fighting and walked up to Amberfeather she has cobwebs but it was to late amberfeather has gone to join star clan. But Sunnykit did not give up even thow she is only a kit she puts the the webs on amberfeather and prays to star clan shes not to late.

she does not no any of the herbs yet but she trys to keep amberfeather a live as long a she can but amberfeather is sliping away....... but Sunnykit does not give up on her....

Nightheart had lept onto the dogs back and clawed its ears into shreds while trying to free Amberfeather. As the dog ran away she lept off. She let out a small wail of dismay and bowed her head. "Please StarClan, recieve her with grace.." She then shook her pelt and ran over to Galaxystar. Shortly after she padded back, grief making her tail heavy. She pressed herself against Alchemyheart. "Alchemyheart, itll be ok...you are a leader now, dont forget. She is in StarClan, and I'm sure youll see her again soon.." She gave her friend a gentle lick. "We must take them back to the clan...lets clan them up a bit first though. I'll get Galaxystar." SHe mewed. With that, she laid her tail on his back for a second, and padded over to her former leader.

Alchemyheart nodded to her silently, his eyes filled with grief. He began to groom Amberfeather's body before she was presented to the clan. After he was finished he gentily grabbed her by her scruff to carry her back to camp. He waited for Nightheart so they could both go to the camp with their fallen clanmates.
