out looking for herbs

Dragonmist was out looking for herbs to restock. she thought near the river would be a good place to look for some horestail and watermint.

(( mind if I join? My kit, lets just say has been Interested with the medicines. lol))

Nightkit was out of camp. Nearing the river sides. She felt the wind blow at her face, as she padded calmly around. She felt relaxed as she noticed Dragonmist in the distance she smiled and continued to wander.

[dragonmist]

Dragonmist saw the kit wandering around. she walked up to her." what are you doing out here. you are supposed to be in the camp."

Nightkit looked at the cat infront of her. " Oh. I was just wandering around cause I smelled something minty out here and I wanted to see what it was. " She smiled as she replyed.

[dragonmist]

"it is probably watermint. it common in wet places." she said. " you have a really good nose for sniffing out herbs. have you ever thought about becoming a medicine cat?" she asked hoping he would say yes. she always wanted an aprentice but all of the kits want to be warriors and fight.

[Amethystheart]

" Actually, I would love to. I dont like fighting at all... Its just painful. I like curing others instead and let them live. " She smiled " And thanks by the way. I smelled alot of stuff. It was all so cool! " She smiled still with her tail neatly by her paws as she spoke to the medicine Cat.

[dragonmist]

" well ill talk to cloudstar. and once you are ready to become an apprentice youll start the duties of a medicen cat." she said happy to hear that there was someone who was sorta like her. she never liked fighting but if she had to she would, to save a life of another cat. " so what eles can you smell."

[Amethystheart]

" I saw these weird yellow flowers that smelled really good. And these berries. Not those weird ones, my siblings told me about. The nicer ones that cure you instead. " She smiled. Feeling very smart inside.

[dragonmist]

"the berries are juniper berries, they ease pain when you eat them, like poppy seeds. make sure you dont touch death berries. they can be usful if you use them right but no cat should eat them. the yellow flowers was probably goldenrod. it is best for cureing wounds. " she said happy to teach, even a little, about herbs.

[Amethystheart]

Nightkit listened intently. " How many more moons until I can be like you one day? " She asked in all a cute voice. (( LOL ))

[dragonmist]

dragonmist gave out a little laugh. " you will have to learn all the herbs and what they do before you become a real med cat. but if you learn quickly then you might become one faster then you think."

" YAY! " She purred loudly with glee. She felt really jumpy inside but kept it somewhat contained.

"" if you want to you can come with me to collect herbs, i can't carry them all by myself. " she said knowing the kit would be excited to do something.

[Amethystheart]

" Sure, I would love to! " She smiled feeling more happier than before.

[dragonmist]

"ok the first thing we are going to do is go down to the river and look for watermint." she said standing up and heading torwards the river.
